Another stop at Van der Valk in Hildesheim. They upgraded me to a junior suite with a great view on the Marktplatz. A very nice suite with good facilities and an amazing bathroom. I took the photo early in the morning when the week market was being build up. In december the place will have a very nice 'Weihnachts markt' (christmas market)

Stayed here a couple of times. Convenient location close to the airport and the Madrid Exhibition Center. Rooms are a bit out of date.

Second time around in this hotel. I came back because it is well situated in the Itaim Bibi quarter and I like this place. For now I will stick to this one in this enormous city!

When there are big expo's in the 'Messe' it is not easy to find accommodation in and around Hannover. I was able to get a room in the Alte Post in Lehrte. The business model is clear: very old shitty hotels charge 4 star prices in times of scarcity and I don't blame them ;-)

Novotel Hildesheim is a fine hotel with comfortable rooms. I was not very excited about the breakfast and disappointed with the fact that they charge 9 euro to get internet acces.

Typical Ibis, so simple and small room. The tower on the picture is the Sint-Niklaaskerk. Gent is a beautiful city.

The size of the room and bathroom must be something like jail. There is not exactly a view from this side and the prices do not match with the offered comfort. However, it has a good parking and is situated conveniently close to the city center. When you visit Gent, check the bar called Waterhuis aan de Bierkant.

As I stayed here before you can find more details from earlier stays. This room is on the scond highest floor and looks away from Madrid, roughly in the direction of Zaragoza and Barcelona.

Great room but not so great view. The rooms at the frontside of the hotel have a very nice view on the 'Marktplatz', this side looks at a big warehouse named 'Galeria Kaufhof'. As I stayed here before, you know this is a 'place to stay'.

Very close to our head office this is a very nice hotel. I know it for years, it has been Le Meridien and it is know part of the Dutch group Van der Valk. The marketplace in front of the hotel has a very nice Christmas Market in December, now (end of May) the square is being prepared for the 'Weinfest'.

Very pleasant hotel in the Itaim neighbourhood. Room, service and gym are really pleasant. The bathroom is very small. I would recommend this hotel while is good and not very expensive.

In town for an event in the Transamerica Expo Center in April 2012. The service in Sao Paulo business hotels is very good, also in this Tryp. The rooms, and the bathrooms in particular, need some maintenance. The picture is a bit blurry because the window could not open (which I don't like) and it was kind of dirty.

If you take a deeper look to all my posts on this blog, you will not find any disappointing experiences. This time is different. I will not recommend Confortel Atrium to anybody. The booking system failed and because of that they gave me a different room. I made a complaint about that and the big crack in the window (see picture). About the first issue the management explained me that I was wrong, the crack was not mentioned by them. First and last time here.
